Wild Destin- The original coconut girl- Michaela Cover Shoot for Scarlett Magazine
It was a gorgeous Destin Summer day and I had the opportunity to head to Crab Island with the Publisher and Editor of Scarlett Magazine to do the cover and feature shoot. So thank you Steve Barber and Mary Aho- on the way back we were able to sip on coconut water and indulge in the fresh pineapple! Getting in the water with my cameras is always a bit.. risky but always worth it for something so fun!
Michaela (owner of Wild Destin) had “A dream to share the joy of her experiences throughout the Indonesian Islands and Australia, with her home. Coconuts.. she was going to build a boat to sell coconuts!” So after a decade of being gone, she came back to her home town of Destin and hasn’t stopped growing her fun business! with several boats that launch at crab island daily- it’s filled with coconuts, pineapple and now acai bowls- she also just opened a pop up shop!
