I sat down for quite some time thinking about how to blog about Brittany Dawn. A woman when you're in her presence you feel her beauty, calmness, and she invites you to just be you. Then I thought about women in general and what we have to offer and wanted to share these words...
Strength and courage of a woman doesn’t always look like it does for a man. But it’s her strong heart and ability to bring back the relationship to foundation. To see the weak points before they even become an issue. To love so deeply without holding back. Brene Brown author of Daring Greatly said “Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome. Vulnerability is not weakness; is our most accurate measurement of courage.”
Although men have an abundance of strengths, i love what women have to offer, and it’s just as vitally important. We have the ability to hone in on hearts, souls, hurts, joys, the root of these and we tend to be the ones to bring vulnerability and it builds strong and deep relationships.
it takes a great deal of courage to be vulnerable even with the people that mean the most. It means putting our heart on the line and like stated above doing so and having no control over the outcome. We may not be viewed in (most) romance movies as carrying a great deal of strength, but ladies don’t sell yourself short. We have so much strength in our heart and in our mind. Vulnerability is always be a strength and it’s the one that most accurately shows our courage.
So be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged For the Lord our God is with you wherever you go.
