Earlier this month I was able to photograph the gorgeous and fabulous Brittany Dawn! For those of who don't already follow and love her, you absolutely should. Helping encourage and empower women to love their bodies and who they are now while striving for the best version of themselves. You can follow her on instagram and Facebook. Fitness is a huge passion of hers and she often incorporates flexible dieting and allowing to treat herself! because we all deserve pizza and ice cream sometimes :)
We met up at the Brik Venue downtown Forth Worth, Texas and it was even better than I expected! i found this location online after doing some research really wanting some white brick. This venue just opened again in April and been booked (so if you're wanting to get married there.. jump on it! I highly recommend it!) Our vision was similar with the white brick backdrop and she brought some perfect pieces to be photographed in. Including this tulle skirt that I need to get in every color for my studio!
I have followed Brittany for a while and was over the top excited when we were putting together our shoot! She's as genuine, sweet, and kind as I thought and had to tell my bestie Rachelle (who adores Brittany too!) that I photographed her. She's got an incredible story and for those who are interested you can read it all here, but I know for me when I see someone in fitness it's hard not to immediately think "good genetics." But Brittany has worked extremely hard to get to where she is. She's been 170+ lbs then to under eating to now her balanced life. I'm so proud of her and loved our session together!
Here's a few of my favorites and don't forget the behind the scenes video along with the makeup artist Rocio! links to follow them both below.
"I love the person I've become, because I fought to become her."
Thank you again Brittany for a wonderful girly filled day!
Rocio did a perfect job at hair AND makeup and I couldn't believe the lovely styles she did for every outfit change! I loved every idea! You're awesome girl!
